Business Voice Services

A team reviewing a shared operations workflow.

RingCentral-powered business voice, supported by ETS

Make it easier for customers to reach you—and for your team to respond. ETS uses RingCentral for our VoIP and telephony solutions, bringing business calling, messaging, and collaboration together with practical migration and ongoing support.

Your business number. Wherever work happens.

A missed call, a slow transfer, or a phone tied to an empty desk can get in the way of good service. RingCentral gives your team more ways to stay reachable.

Founded in 1999, RingCentral provides cloud communications for businesses. RingEX is its everyday business phone and collaboration platform; specialized products extend it for customer service, AI, and events.

Work beyond the desk

Use compatible desk phones, computers, or mobile devices to handle business calls. Keep your business identity when working remotely, instead of giving customers your personal mobile number.

Give callers a clearer path

Use greetings, phone menus, queues, and business-hours rules to direct customers to the right team. Build a sensible next step when someone is busy or unavailable.

Grow without rebuilding your phone system

Manage users, numbers, and locations through a central cloud platform. Add employees or adjust call flows as your organization changes, with less dependence on an on-site phone-system appliance.

We match the subscription, devices, and configuration to your needs. Features, usage allowances, AI capabilities, integrations, and regional availability vary by plan; the capabilities below are not a promise that every item is included in one package.

More useful tools for every conversation

Start with what your staff and customers need to do each day. These are the capabilities we can review when designing your RingCentral solution.

Professional call handling and coverage

Present a consistent welcome with custom greetings, auto attendants, dial-by-name directories, and multi-level phone menus. Route calls by department, opening hours, holidays, or staff availability. Sequential or simultaneous ringing, forwarding, and voicemail routes give unanswered calls somewhere useful to go. Explore auto attendants and answering rules.

Transfers, shared coverage, and flexible devices

Transfer a caller, park a call for a colleague to retrieve, or use shared lines and delegation where appropriate. Presence information helps staff see who is available. Call flip lets a conversation move between supported devices when work takes you away from your desk. Review calling and mobility features.

Voicemail you can follow up on anywhere

Visual voicemail, text previews, and voicemail-to-email help you prioritize messages without dialing into a mailbox. Review the caller and message details, then return the call from the app. Personalized greetings let callers know what to expect. Explore voicemail options.

Business texting and digital fax

Use eligible business numbers for customer texts, and send or receive faxes electronically with the appropriate service. These options can keep work communications out of personal accounts and reduce reliance on a separate fax machine. SMS/MMS registration, consent, message allowances, and charges need review before launch. See RingEX communications and SMS requirements.

Meetings and team collaboration

Bring colleagues together with video and audio meetings, screen sharing, whiteboards, team chat, and file sharing. Calendar integrations help organize sessions, while available captions, transcripts, recordings, and summaries support follow-up. Meeting capacity and available tools depend on the selected license. Explore meeting capabilities.

Recording, reporting, and everyday AI assistance

Available on-demand or automatic recording helps teams review conversations and coach staff. Call logs and plan-dependent analytics provide visibility into activity and service patterns. RingCentral’s Personal AI Assistant can support transcription, notes, summaries, and message drafting or translation, depending on your plan, settings, and language. Review AI output before relying on it, and agree recording, access, and retention rules before enabling capture. Recording options · AI capabilities.

Keep calling connected to the work

Reduce the need to switch applications or re-enter information. We review your existing tools before recommending an integration.

Microsoft Teams

RingCentral offers an embedded app and Direct Routing options for Teams. Bring business calling into a familiar workspace. The deployment choice affects Microsoft licensing, devices, and which RingCentral features are available.

Customer and support applications

Supported integrations with tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Zendesk can connect communications with customer records and daily work. Available actions and required subscriptions differ by integration.

Custom workflows

RingCentral APIs create options for connecting calling, messaging, fax, and communication data to other systems. ETS can assess a specific workflow and scope any custom development separately.

Add capabilities when your business needs them

Not every organization needs a contact center or an AI receptionist. These additional RingCentral offerings address specific needs; ask ETS to confirm product availability, licensing, implementation scope, and fit.

Customer Engagement Bundle: shared coverage without a full contact center

Help a small customer-facing team manage shared text conversations and busy phone queues. The bundle adds tools such as shared SMS inboxes, templates, queue announcements, callbacks, live queue reporting, and AI-assisted text handling. Explore the Customer Engagement Bundle.

AI Receptionist: another way to handle overflow and after-hours inquiries

RingCentral AI Receptionist (AIR) can answer around the clock, handle approved FAQs, capture lead details, book supported appointments, and route callers to people. Multilingual and text-handling options extend coverage. We should define its knowledge, boundaries, and human handoff before use. Explore AI Receptionist.

AI Conversation Expert: learn from customer conversations

AI Conversation Expert (ACE, formerly RingSense) adds licensed conversation intelligence: summaries, searchable insights, coaching, scorecards, and supported CRM updates. It can help managers review service or sales interactions without listening to every recording in full. Recording and appropriate data-handling settings are prerequisites. Explore ACE.

RingCX: coordinate a dedicated customer-service operation

RingCX brings voice and digital channels into a contact-center workspace. Routing, outbound dialing, virtual agents, agent assistance, quality management, workforce tools, and analytics can support teams with more complex service demands. It is a separate solution, with capability-specific licensing and setup to review. Explore RingCX.

Meetings, Rooms, Town Halls, Webinars, and Events

Beyond everyday meetings, RingCentral offers room-based collaboration, moderated company broadcasts, webinars, and virtual, hybrid, or on-site events. Registration, audience engagement, branded experiences, and event reporting can support training and customer education. Rooms, event formats, capacities, and production tools have their own hardware or licensing requirements. Explore the meetings portfolio · Explore Events.

Push to Talk: quick communication for frontline teams

Give staff a walkie-talkie-style way to reach coworkers through supported mobile devices. Channels and announcements can help coordinate people on a shop floor, at a site, or away from a desk. This optional service depends on compatible devices and usable Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity. Explore Push to Talk.

POTS replacement: review legacy analog lines separately

RingCentral offers an adapter-based alternative for eligible traditional analog lines, including certain fax and specialty-device uses. Do not assume an alarm, elevator phone, or other safety-critical device can move onto ordinary VoIP. Compatibility, backup power, connectivity, and applicable approvals require a dedicated assessment. Explore POTS Line Replacement.

New AI workflow options: availability comes first

RingCentral also markets AI Virtual Assistant (AVA) and AI Representative (AIR Pro) capabilities. Some advanced AI workflows that take actions across business applications are listed as early access or coming soon. We can discuss the use case, but will verify availability before including a capability in your solution. AVA · AIR Pro.

RingCentral product descriptions do not define your ETS service agreement. Add-ons, AI usage, messaging, international calling, hardware, and third-party applications may carry additional charges. Your proposal should identify what is included.

Find the right fit for my team

Plan for dependable, controlled communications

A cloud platform is one part of a reliable phone service. Your network, power, access settings, and operating procedures matter too.

Cloud reliability, local readiness

RingCentral advertises a 99.999% uptime SLA for its phone service, subject to its terms. That is not a guarantee for your internet connection or local equipment. ETS reviews network readiness and options for alternate connectivity and call routing.

Access and security controls

RingCentral documents encrypted communications, multifactor authentication, single sign-on, and administrative controls. We review the settings and licenses that fit your organization, including who can access recordings and change the phone system.

Recording with clear rules

Agree what should be captured, who can see it, and how long it is kept. For sensitive or regulated work, verify the specific product, contract, and configuration requirements. A platform feature alone does not make an organization compliant.

Support beyond the handset

ETS connects the phone platform to the network and the people using it. We help plan the change, prepare your team, and support the environment after launch.

1. Understand your current setup

Review your provider, contract timing, locations, extension count, devices, and call-handling problems. Identify must-have integrations, busy periods, and any analog or emergency-calling requirements.

2. Prepare and move carefully

Check bandwidth, switching, wireless coverage, and voice traffic priorities. Plan number-porting eligibility, carrier information, cutover timing, call flows, and testing to reduce disruption.

3. Help people use it well

Show employees the calling, transfer, voicemail, and mobile features they will use. Give your team a technical contact for configuration changes, quality issues, devices, and carrier coordination under the agreed support scope.

Questions before you switch

Start with a clear picture of what will change, what you can keep, and what the solution will cost.

Can we keep our current phone numbers?

RingCentral supports transferring eligible numbers. ETS can help review eligibility, account details, and timing with the carriers. Keep existing service active until the transfer is completed and confirmed; do not cancel it simply because a port has been requested. RingCentral number-transfer guidance.

Do we need new desk phones?

Not necessarily. Staff may use RingCentral apps and headsets, compatible desk phones, or a mix. ETS will check existing devices before recommending replacements. Legacy analog equipment needs a separate compatibility review.

Will this work for remote employees and multiple locations?

That is a strong use case for cloud calling. Users can work through supported devices with suitable connectivity, and administrators can manage the system centrally. We review site-specific routing, permissions, emergency locations, and any country restrictions during planning.

What happens if our office loses internet or power?

Phones and network equipment at that site can stop working. Properly configured cloud routing, mobile connectivity, backup power, or a second internet connection may provide alternatives. Those arrangements need to be designed and tested; they are not automatic guarantees.

Can we use RingCentral with Microsoft Teams?

Yes, through supported integrations. An embedded RingCentral experience and native Teams calling through Direct Routing are different deployment paths. ETS can review the appropriate Microsoft and RingCentral licenses before you choose.

Are all of these features included, and will switching save money?

Not every capability is included in every subscription. We compare your current total cost against a scoped proposal covering users, devices, usage, add-ons, implementation, and support. Moving away from an on-premises phone system can reduce equipment administration, but savings depend on your starting point and requirements.
