Cynet-powered protection. Business-focused support.
Protect the business you have worked hard to build. ETS uses Cynet as our cybersecurity platform, alongside practical safeguards that help protect your information, keep people working, and support your compliance responsibilities.
Cybersecurity protects more than computers
Your business depends on email, shared files, online accounts, and the systems behind everyday work. A security incident can affect your ability to serve customers—not just your IT department.
Keep work moving
Locked files or a compromised system can interrupt appointments, orders, payroll, and production. Reducing risk and preparing recovery steps helps limit the disruption to your team and customers.
Protect money and private information
A convincing email or stolen password can expose customer records or divert a payment. Protecting accounts and checking unusual requests helps reduce opportunities for fraud.
Preserve trust and business relationships
Customers trust you with their information. Contracts, insurers, and regulators may also expect evidence of how you protect it. Clear safeguards help you respond to those expectations.
A small business is not too small to need protection. Remote work, online services, and connections with suppliers mean security extends beyond the office. The goal is to reduce the chance of an incident and be better prepared if one happens.
Security risks can look like ordinary work
Here are three examples of how a problem can begin:
- An invoice with new bank details: a convincing message asks your accounts team to change where a payment goes. Email protection and a call to a known supplier contact provide different layers of defense.
- A stolen work password: someone outside the business signs in and tries to read files or send messages as an employee. A second sign-in check, sensible access limits, and account monitoring help reduce the risk.
- Files that suddenly will not open: harmful software interrupts the work your team needs to do. Device protection, a clear response plan, and tested backups address different parts of that problem.
Prevention matters, but so does knowing who will respond. A warning that nobody reviews can leave a business exposed.
Connected protection with Cynet
Cynet is a cybersecurity company that brings prevention, monitoring, and response tools into one platform. Connecting information from different systems can help reveal suspicious activity that a single warning might not explain.
ETS uses Cynet technology as part of a broader security approach. We review your devices, accounts, business needs, and existing protections to identify the right coverage.
The capabilities below describe Cynet’s offerings. Your ETS proposal will identify the features, devices, services, and monitoring included, along with the response actions we are authorized to take.
Help protect computers and servers from harmful software
Cynet watches for known threats and suspicious behavior on supported devices. Its ransomware protection is designed to detect and stop software that tries to lock business files for payment. No tool can stop every attack, so protected backups and a recovery plan remain essential. Cynet device protection.
Spot unusual account activity
A valid password does not always mean the right person is using an account. Cynet’s identity tools can flag suspicious sign-ins, stolen-account activity, and attempts to gain more access. Supported response actions can help contain an affected account when configured and authorized. Cynet account protection.
Find signs of an attack spreading
Cynet can connect activity across devices, users, and network connections to look for suspicious patterns. That broader view helps identify a threat trying to reach other systems or move information outside the business. Cynet network protection.
Review email, cloud, and mobile protection
Cynet offers email tools that examine suspicious messages, links, and attachments. Cloud tools can flag risky settings and permissions in supported online services. Separate mobile protection addresses threats on supported phones and tablets. ETS can review which options fit your environment and which require additional licensing or setup. Email · Cloud services · Mobile devices.
Turn a warning into a response
Cynet can connect related warnings and take agreed actions, such as stopping a harmful program or separating an affected computer from other business systems. This can help limit an attack’s spread. We agree which actions can happen automatically and when your team must be involved. Cynet response automation.
Access around-the-clock security analysts on qualifying plans
Cynet’s CyOps service provides 24/7 monitoring, investigation, threat hunting, and response support. Some service modes require customer approval; others allow pre-approved actions. CyOps is not included in every Cynet package. Your ETS agreement should identify the monitoring coverage, escalation contacts, and response responsibilities that apply to you. When protecting information is also a requirement
If you handle sensitive information or work under regulated contracts, cybersecurity may be a business obligation as well as a sensible precaution. Knowing which requirements apply comes before choosing the tools.
Healthcare and patient information
Healthcare organizations and service providers covered by HIPAA must protect electronic patient information through appropriate policies, physical safeguards, and technology controls. Protection includes keeping information private, accurate, and available for authorized care—not just blocking attacks.
Financial customer information
The FTC Safeguards Rule requires covered financial institutions to maintain an information-security program. Its reach can extend beyond businesses people think of as banks, so applicability should be checked against your activities.
Payment cards and customer contracts
PCI DSS addresses payment-account data security. Using an outside payment processor does not automatically remove every merchant responsibility. Customer contracts and insurance policies can set additional expectations for your business.
For HIPAA-regulated teams, start with the whole picture
Understand where patient information is stored and shared, who can access it, and what could put it at risk. Keep written policies, train staff, review supplier agreements, and prepare to respond and recover. Review these safeguards as your organization changes. Cynet can support the technology work; it does not replace these responsibilities.
Be ready to explain what you do—and show it
Where enabled and configured, Cynet’s monitoring and records can support parts of your security evidence. A complete program also needs clear ownership, documented decisions, and regular follow-through. ETS can help review gaps and coordinate the technology work with your compliance adviser.
- Know what needs protection: identify important information, where it is kept, and who can access it.
- Write down responsibilities: keep practical policies, staff training records, and a plan for reporting concerns.
- Check that safeguards are working: review account access, software updates, security alerts, and recovery tests.
- Prepare for questions: keep relevant reports, incident records, and evidence of completed improvements.
Compliance is an ongoing responsibility—not a badge gained by buying software. Cynet’s certifications and framework mappings do not certify your organization. Requirements depend on your activities, information, contracts, and location; confirm legal obligations with qualified counsel or your compliance adviser.
Good security combines tools, people, and preparation
Cynet is an important part of the approach, not a replacement for day-to-day care. ETS helps connect security to how your business actually operates.
Make everyday work safer
Use strong, unique passwords and a second sign-in check. Keep software updated, limit access to what each role needs, and remove old accounts when people leave.
Help people recognize a problem
Give employees practical training on suspicious emails and unexpected requests. Verify payment changes through a trusted contact method, and make it easy to report a concern without blame.
Prepare to recover
Maintain protected backups and test that important systems can be restored. Decide who will respond, who will communicate with staff and customers, and which outside advisers to contact.
A practical starting point is NIST’s small-business cybersecurity guidance. Connect these safeguards with ongoing IT support and our backup and disaster recovery services.
A clearer path to stronger protection
You do not need to arrive with a technical checklist. Start with what your business cannot afford to lose or be without.
1. Understand the business
Tell us how your team works, which systems matter most, and whether you face customer, insurance, or compliance requirements.
2. Prioritize the gaps
Review existing protections and agree the most important improvements. Define the Cynet coverage, supporting services, and responsibilities in your proposal.
3. Keep the plan current
Review changes in people, systems, and business needs. Revisit safeguards and incident plans so protection does not become a one-time setup.
Questions business owners ask
Clear answers help you choose protection with realistic expectations.
We already have antivirus. Why review our security?
Antivirus is one layer. Stolen accounts, deceptive emails, unsafe settings, and recovery gaps need attention too. We review how your existing safeguards work together and who is responsible when a warning appears.
Will Cynet make our business compliant?
No platform can do that on its own. Cynet can support security controls and evidence, but your organization must address all applicable requirements. Policies, staff practices, supplier arrangements, and ongoing reviews still matter.
Does every plan include 24/7 monitoring?
No. Cynet offers different packages and service levels. We will clarify whether CyOps monitoring is included, which systems are covered, and who handles response. Cynet’s service hours should not be confused with ETS’s contracted support hours.
Do we still need backups and cyber insurance?
Security monitoring does not replace backups or business recovery planning. Insurance serves a different purpose and has its own conditions and exclusions. Discuss coverage with your insurer; installing Cynet does not guarantee eligibility, a lower premium, or payment of a claim.
Know where your business needs stronger protection
Tell us what you are concerned about and any requirements you need to meet. ETS will help you identify practical next steps. You do not need to know the technical terms to start.
Please do not include passwords, patient records, financial account details, or other sensitive information in a website inquiry.
